Abrasion resistance - is the ability of a fabric to resist surface wear caused by flat rubbing contact with another material.

Acrylic - (of synthetic resins and textile fibers) made from polymers of acrylic acid or acrylates

Braiding - to weave together strips or strands of fabric/textiles

Circular - having the form of a circle

Coated - having a coating, as of plastic, paint, or other, to make it impervious to moisture.

Conduit - a tube or trough for protecting electric wiring.

Crush Resistant - not being easily creased – resistance to being crushed

Diameter - a straight line passing from side to side through the center of a body or figure, especially a circle or sphere.

Emulsion - a fine dispersion of minute droplets of one liquid in another in which it is not soluble or miscible.

Fiber - a thread or filament from which a mineral substance, or textile is formed.

Flexibility - the quality of bending easily without breaking.

Fuel Line - is a hose used to bring fuel from one point in a vehicle to another or from a storage tank to a vehicle. It is commonly made of reinforced rubber to prevent splitting and kinking.

Heat Treated - involves the use of heating, normally to extreme temperatures, to achieve a desired result such as hardening or shaping of a material.

Inside Diameter - The diameter of the inside of a tube, pipe or other object. Often abbreviated "ID"

LOOM - an apparatus for making fabric by weaving yarn or thread

Monofilament - a single, generally large filament of synthetic fiber.

Outside Diameter “OD” - an object with two concentric diameters, such as a tube, the diameter corresponding to the outer circumference. 

Non-Metallic - Not metallic.

Polyester - a synthetic resin in which the polymer units are linked by ester groups, used chiefly to make synthetic textile fibers

Reflective - providing a reflection; capable of reflecting light or other radiation.

Shock Absorbent - having the capacity to absorb the energy of an impact; "the material absorbs shock and is used for shock-absorbent purposes"

Sound Abatement – or Noise Control - is a set of strategies to reduce noise pollution or to reduce the impact of that noise, whether outdoors or indoors

Wire Harness - aka a cable harness, cable assembly, wiring assembly or wiring loom, is an assembly of cables or wires which transmit signals or electrical power.
